   My name is Debra Powell and I want to thank you for visiting our site. Since you are here, you must share our passion for horses.
   Valley High Quarter Horses is a 140 acre farm nestled in aspen trees high in the mountains of Eastern Washington State near the Canadian border. There's lots of room to roam, plenty of green grass, clean fresh air and miles of groomed trails. 
    I'm a retired horse trainer who cannot seem to give up having lots of horses around me. So, I decided I would raise a few quality horses in the healthiest environment that I could. Research shows more and more that horses who are raised with lots of room to move around, grow up with stronger bones and feet and are much more likely to remain sound. Many horses are raised in small pens and stalls and often develop leg and feet problems at an early age.
    My horses are imprinted from birth and are all handled on a regular basis. They have been clipped, bathed, hauled, feet handled, tied, and started right. All have been raised with quality care and training. These are sound, well mannered, well trained, quality horses. People that buy our horses often contact us years after the sale to ask questions or just to let us know how the horses are doing. We care about our customers and horses, and want you to be happy with your horse.
